Eastern Kansas

We are currently seeking a full-time staff physician for our 10,000 volume ED located in Leavenworth, Kansas. Leavenworth, with a population of 35,000, is a beautiful small community located only 30 minutes from downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Cushing Memorial Hospital is a 110-bed acute care hospital that is part of the St. Luke’s Healthcare System. We have 24 hours of coverage a day, with physicians working (7a-7p and 7p-7a). All of our physicians are EM-trained and/or residency trained and boarded in family practice, internal medicine or pediatrics with EM experience. The ED has 5-beds total. Candidates for full-time staff physician must be EM-trained and/or residency trained and boarded in family practice, internal medicine or pediatrics with EM experience. We also require ACLS, ATLS and PALS-certification.
